Debt Termination offers affordable solutions to personal and business related accounts payable. We are a Licensed Debt Collections Agency and are members of the Institute of Mercantile Agents (IMA).

We are able to provide all the usual services of a Debt Collector, including formal letters of demand, telephone follow-ups, Debt Negotiation Agreements, Corporations and Land Titles Searches, Process Serving and Skip Tracing where the debtor has absconded.

We are also able to register defaulting debtors with various Credit Referencing Services (making it difficult for them to apply for loans, credit cards and mobile telephone contracts).

Additionally, being affiliated with a Law Firm, we are able to take your matter that additional step of issuing formal legal proceedings, progressing them to finalization in Court, and ultimately to the enforcement of judgment. (*Conditions apply, subject to Dean R. Love & Associates usual Legal Services Agreement).

Debt Termination prides itself on offering the most affordable commission rate, with no annual subscription fees.

Our commission rates are as follows:

For one off collections, the commission rates are (excluding GST):

Under $250 $50
$25-$2,500 15%
$2,5001-$10,000 10%
Over $10,000 7.5%

*In addition to the above, there are the following fees:

$25 fee on debts not recovered within 12 months
All disbursements will be billed to the client (at cost), including Corporations & Land Titles Searches, Skip Tracing, Process Serving, and Searching & Registration of debtors with credit referencing services.
Postage, Petties and Photocopying will be billed at $2.50 per month while the file is active.
Paralegal services at $110 per hour (These are extraordinary matters at the specific request of client. For example: Representation in Court a Minor Case Claim where legal representation is not permitted).
Legal Services will be billed in accordance with Dean R. Love Barristers & Solicitors, standard Legal Services Agreement.

Community Advocates, is a support group providing information and (non legal) advocacy for Victims of Crime and Civil Liberties.

We are able to provide assistance and information with Compensation Claims for Victims of Crime (through applications to the Criminal Injuries Compensation Fund).

We are also able to provide assistance and information in relation to applications for Violence & Misconduct Restraining Orders, and assistance with Human Rights & Equal Opportunity Actions.

We are also able to arrange for victim counseling services, and act as an advocate to political representatives and public officials.
